MCR Radiators NPT to NPSM Thread Upgbrade Advisory
Effective 8-15-07 all MCRXX-QP series radiators will be gradually upgraded to 1/4" NPSM (compatible 1/4" BSPP and G1/4) threaded hubs. Note that for an equal barb size, there is no difference in pressure drop between 3/8" NPT and 1/4" NPSM.
Upgrade schedule:
8/15/07: MCR120-QP receives 1/4" NPSM threaded hubs instead of built-in 3/8" barbs
8/31/07: MCR220-QP receives 1/4" NPSM threaded hubs instead of 3/8" NPT hubs.
9/30/07: MCR320-QP receives 1/4" NPSM threaded hubs instead of 3/8" NPT hubs.
